Lego Kid

It has been ages since I last posted. I have been busy as, at school. I have written 2  out of 4 stories so far,  One was published at school and I got to read it out to all the kids at our full assembly. I was so nervous standing up in front of everybody. I just thought of my uncle Kenny who said to me a long time ago, "no matter how hard something seems you never give up".Thanks Kenny.

My Mom suggested I write my story on my blog. She said it would be a great idea as it may inspire other kids to be imaginative through words. So here goes. I hope this inspires somebody.

My first story was called Little red riding hood which was so good I got a , writing an imaginative narrative certificate for it at school. I would like to type it out for everyone to read but my teacher still has it so I will have to wait till I get it back.

Here is my second story, The Tale of the Giant by Cameron Dowdle

As the city lay in ruins the bad King Lewis is now sitting on the throne of Azlar and is making everyone his slaves with his golden sword and his big black shield. No one could stop him.

It all started out when I planted an apple tree. But when I planted it, it grew as tall as the clouds. I mean as tall as the clouds and when it hit the clouds everything went black. There was a big dark shape coming down the apple tree towards me when ...... BANG!!!!! The thing hit the ground. It was as big as an Oak tree! It was a Giant! A humungous deformed Giant!

The Giant was only 2 K's from the city , we had to stop him, but how? He was huge! Everything was normal at the city until a big dark shape rose above the buildings. One by one the buildings disappered until there were none left. With the remains of the buildings, he piled them up and sat down. Every body that tried to stop him was killed.

When the giant got down the apple tree, he realised that everything was different and he was also searching for a generator disguised as a dagger which was locked up in the a musuem in the city, but the dagger was being carried away and and I? I was cutting the apples of the apple tree as a ammo to throw at the Giant but when I got back he was nowhere in sight. I looked around but I still couldn't see him. So I jumped!

Just over the ruins I saw a castlel and through the window, I saw the giant sitting on the throne of Azlar. I got up, picked up and an apple and threw the apple over the ruins through the window then.... Blop! It hit the Giant right off the throne of Azlar. The guards rushed to help him. The Giant got up and lifted up a guard, took his bow and arrow and threw it across the room. I turned around to run but I couldn't. I saw a little dot getting bigger, not realising that it was the tip of an arrow. Then the whole world fell apart.

I opened my eyes and felt the hot air rush into my lungs. My eyes watered becuase of the light. "Oh look! The kid's awake and crying Awwwww!"  Then somebody shot the guards and I saw my best friend Sora. "Thanks Sora" I said. "C'mon lets go!" Shouted Sora. Sora was like any other kid, just way cooler. He had brown bendy spikes for hair, and nice white skin so he looked  kind of like me. "The Giant!" I yelled.  "He'll be looking for you!" Sora smiled. "Nah" he puffed. "He fell down a hole that ......."  "That a tank bullet made?" I guessed. "Are you a side kick or what?" He asked. "Just guessed" I replied. "Ok. Lets just go" Sora opened the cell door and I ran out. We ran down the maze of corridoors.Then we ran straight into a see through wall. Sora cursed, he started to hit the wall too but could not get through, so I punched the wall. On my first punch, I hit the wall so hard but I didn't hit it , instead I punched right through it. Sora followed me exactly the same way I went and he just walked through the wall like there was a door. The moment we stepped out of the castle it blew up. Flames danced and flickered in the wind. Sora punched the air in victory.

We were now safe from the evil giant so me and Sora played some playstation (which had only come into the shops five minutes ago) and lego. And becuase we saved the world, we had everything we always wanted! :)

My school  holidays have been jam packed with fun.

1. movies. I watched Dragon Wars with Cayla, The sorcerers apprentice with Murtza (my best friend) and Ruben and I watched Despicable me with Caleb, another great friend.

About the movies:
Dragon wars: what an adventurous movie. from dragons to powerful people fight  such a thrilling battle to stop the one who wants to take over the world with his own army of dragons and monsters.

Sorcerers apprentice: this is such a good movie that I have no clue how to explain. It is so thrilling, so amazing and it is just a fantastic movie you have got to watch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Despicable me: such a weird crazy movie with villans, jet cars and much more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and again, it is so weird.
  

I also went to two really cool places. One of them was  Big ups and the other was the sky tower  which was pretty cool to experience. On the sky tower I stood on the glass floors  and it was soooo high that i was completely freaked out!!!!!!!!!!   (click on the links to view the sites.)

I really like my Lego,
you can be so creative with it, and build so many different things. I used my Shadow snapper set with
